Spray Guns

Hi
Have just bought this off ebay for £25 as it was very local to me
Garage clearance: 1 x BINKS Bullows Paint Spray Gun Model L220
1 x B.E.N Paint Spray Gun
1 x Italian BALMA Torino Paint Spray Gun
1 x 5 litre can of T-Cut, half full
1 x 3 kg can FARECLA G7 Rubbing Compound, half full
16 metres of as new, 1/2 inch, heavy duty air hose with PCL 100 fittings
The guns have not been used for several years and may require some light service maintenance.




Could you tell me if the guns are any good and if it was a not a to bad buy. as i no nothing about spray painting but need to learn.

well u certainly got a bargain there the hose and the t cut alone would cost that
just strip the guns and clean with dipping them in celly thinners if theres any paint on em using a paint brush

I have a Binks Billows 230 which is probably very similar, and I find it excellent. In fact I was using it this morning !

We were discussing BEN spray guns this afternoon;-)
I was walking the dog one day and got talking to some old bloke who was messing about with a British bike in a garage[which he wouldn't flog]. Anyway I ended up with some old crap he was clearing away and it included a BEN spray gun. This would have been about 1973 and the gun could easily have been 30 years. It was the first gun I used and it worked OK, I carried on using it for some years.

I'm not surprised he wouldn't sell, if he flogged his garage to you then he wouldn't have anywhere to keep his bike would he.
