Start of my steel eagle owl

Started this bird this week. Done about 6 hours so far. I have trawled the net a fair bit for similar projects and quite a few decent bird sculptures but noone seems to have got the owl quite right somehow. A difficult bird to sculpt i think. Anyway heres my effort so far

Busy busy.
He looks quite scary, almost priest like.
Good how you are using the scales to conceal the welds on the previous layer.
Doing that kind of thing is such 'fun'.

6 HOURS? Either your clocks are running slow or you got some elves that come out at at night and work for you lol. looking bloody great mate thats a lot of work for 6 hours
