I picked this bandsaw the other day seen it last week outside a garage and made contact on Monday and picked it up the following day for 150 Euro, was thinking of the Aldi/Lidl and modding it to be a table saw, Its a bit bigger than I need but I could not pass it up. I started cleaning it and trying to see what need to be done to get it working.So far there is damage to the Guide brackets top an bottom some previous had messed with the guide rollers and put the rear roller to the side ??? Ronan has mentioned on another thread that the Manual can be got for £45 if anyone has got a copy or can scan one I would be grateful.Can anyone suggest the best way of repairing the guide brackets as I am going to try and get 6 new bearings tomorrow. Some bandsaws have the rear roller mounted like that, the back edge of the blade runs against the edge of the outer bearing race.

Yes but who ever went at it before did not under stand and adjusted the rear bearings to the side of the blade allowing it to wear the bearing mount top and bottom.What is the best way to repair the damage MMA/Braze or Tig Braze. Here are pictures of the Saw I forgot to upload

look at section 15 page 7 of the 2nd manual.
Shows the roller setup.

I think the solid block guides are better - more accurate anyway.

Thanks for the help and links will get the manual printed on Monday. Not much done today went and ordered the 6 bearings for the guide will have Mon/Tue. Still do not know ho to deal with the guide blocks as I dont want them to distort or am I over thinking it and just Mig them.

I wouldn't use any hot process to repair those guides, they will likely warp if you do and knock the bearing mounts off being square & parallel with each other - then you'll be in a world of pain!

You could drill across the slit & press in a dowel pin or 2 for support & fill the slit in with JB weld.

A bit more done today collected the bearings and a v belt for the compressor the air blowing system, some one had put the air filter and the outlet the wrong way around very strange maintenance. Cleaned and stripped the table tilt setup looks a bit better also reassembled the blade guide with new bearings have not done anything with the bearing mounts may leave alone for now. I then connected a Phase Inverter I have on loan to the motor and worked first time as did the blade grinder motor. This was when I noticed the compressor not working properly so I changed the inlet and outlet around and now works properly.I then went at the gearbox the gear selector was seized but a little persuation and WD40 I now have 10 speeds 5 high and 5 low. Have not tried the blade welder yet also dont know if I should give the Motor/Gearbox cabinet a coat of paint or not.

Drain the gearbox. Mine was black like treacle and took forever to come out.
Flushed it with cheap oil twice.
Then just run it with iso 32 oil.
It isn't easy to get the oil in. I forced it it with an oil can.
