I know a little about them and I have one in pieces that belonged to my Father. Anyone know much about them? This one I believe to be a Stuart Turner 600.
I'll have a look up in the loft after dinner and see what I can find. From memory, I think there are drawings and information somewhere he sourced from a guy in Capetown during the late 70's or early 80's.
I think the ST600 is a gas engine, unfortunately the chap who holds all the records and spares died unexpectedly earlier this year and his family are still picking up the pieces

Finally extracted the gas engine from the loft and found some paperwork for it, drawings from Stuart Turner, an article from The Model Engineer and correspondence from Johannesburg dating back to 1984/5 along with one colour photo of a completed engine. The article says that one dates back to 1933 and is a 600 3/4hp. Anyone have an idea how I can get it valued?
