Steel cable tie clip clamp thing?

Does anyone know the name for these clips on this axle? Or where to get them?

Sometimes the restorer in me gets in the way of "just use a cable tie like everyone else....."

CV joint stainless boot ties might be an option....they're reasonably cheap but aren't exactly the same as your picture though.

I know you probably want them the same but look at stainless steel zip ties.

They use them for lagging on hot systems, or something similar anyway. Just a smooth metal cable tie which secures by a tiny ball bearing rolling into a wedge gap.

I think if I was to use something else I'd just go with UV rated plastic cable ties, keep it simple!

They were an original fitment on MGB rear axles. Any of the usual suppliers (MGB Hive, Moss etc) should carry them.
