Stepped pulleys for a pillar drill

Is this a feasible thing to print? I'd like a couple or three and now I have a 3d printer everything looks like it can be printer. I've a reel of PA-CF, carbon fibre reinforced polyamide.

The drill in question is a small Meddings powered by a single phase 1/4 hp motor running at 1,450 rpm. The gearing on the machine can increase that to 4,000rpm.

How might the pulley fail, shattering, wear? What haven't I considered?

The belt might wear the material (look how polished a metal pulley becomes). The keyway is a big stress riser. The flange is quite thin, so the pull of the belt might spread (flex) the flange.

I would be tempted to make each pulley separately with a boss in the bottom and a recess in the top so they slot together and then incorporate through bolts (recess for captive nylok nut and counterbore for capscrew). Then if one fails or wears out, it is less to replace it and is modular.

Make a single one and give it a road test.

I think I would have less concerns about a 3DP timing pulley or poly-vee pulley than a standard vee-belt pulley.
