For a while I have been using this lump of Yew as a doorstop, to hold my garage pedestrian door open on hot (breezy) days. I liked the leaning 'buttress' nature of it, but shifting it was a little fiddly at times.
So I decided to make a handle for it. Could have gone just with a square or round plate, but where's the fun in that
Used my Metalcraft RBR tool to make a ring (first time I've tried it), couple of bits of 3mm plate, some horrible screws (nothing better in my stock) and a play with the plasma cutter (3rd time only, still not getting the hang of it) and I ended up with this.
Functional rather than pretty, but does the job.
