Old tv bracket , but of threaded rod holds a round piece of plastic with holes in to hold lathe tools
Ah super. Its brilliant. the photos cuts of the bottom so it was not clear it was hanging not floor standing...well to me anyway. lolA bit of threaded rod goes through the pivot point of the shelf for the tv .
the rod is about 14" long it goes through the aluminium tube and clamps the round blue plastic part so that the lathe stuff, 3mt drills, centres are suspended from the bottom of the bracket.

Designed to store steel on two sides but only one side currently used. Additional tubing and flat fabricated to provide a support for a plywood guard to prevent me or others walking into the ends of the steel stock. 1.2 metre long backed plywood shelves added to help control the shorter off-cut lengths of steel.
I think it was a picture of a random part and the storage system is in the background with the rods sticking out from the wall with various wheels on them. How does that work?
I was looking at the random part thinking, how is that going to store discs ?I think it was a picture of a random part and the storage system is in the background with the rods sticking out from the wall with various wheels on them.
Lol i see what you meant now.I was looking at the random part thinking, how is that going to store discs ?
At the moment my capacity and work load, along with having an excellent working relationship with my local primary steel supplier means that currently I only need to carry enough steel stock for the job I have at hand, and about 14-28 days worth of material for my own products. Which at the moment means I have used up only about 2/3rds the storage capacity on one side of my racking.possibly a stupid idea but why not modify the plywood end pannel make it hinged, add ply shelves on the back half and then you can use the back half of the rack as well?
