Has anyone ever used inconel (CD) style weld studs on inconel before? I am trying to get a few studs in to get the stud welder set and the price is thru the roof on the inconel studs. Would stainless steel studs have similar settings for testing purposes. The weld studs are 10-32 X .25 long. The only test that I can do on these is a torque test, the bending test is out of the question being the studs are only .25 long. Any thoughts on this subject would be great.
