So at the age of 58 I'm starting a night class in MIG welding next week!
Been stick welding since I was 10, but any time I tried Mig it was a head wreck!
Ten weeks, Tuesday and Thursday, 6pm till 9pm.
Looking forward to it!

Mig (dip transfer), is just point and shoot welding, just remember the sound of frying bacon.... .

You'll understand after about an hour, if it takes that long....

Your being spoilt, a descent welding bay, 3ph welder, a clean bench, an extractor and draft free.

That's a lot different from laying under a rusty old van or in the middle of a yard welding a tractor........trying to keep a gas shield intact......
