swan neck

Hello and good morning!

I have wire feed trouble (erratic) on my 130. I have changed the liner, and now want to know how to change the swan neck liner. Does the swan neck twist off or do you get the liner out of the tip end without dismantling it. Also, the contactor sometimes does not engage when trigger is pressed. Any thoughts folks?

I had the same contactor problem - it was just dirt on the contacts. Gave everything a good clean and away it went. Make sure it's not plugged in when you go in there please.

thanks Steve i thought i was alone out there for a while! I'll try cleaning it out - power off. Any thoughts on the swan neck change over?

From memory, dismantle the torch and it comes out from the back of the brass switch block - been a while since I looked though.
Weldequip on here stocks the parts and will be able to give definitive advice on how best to do it. Suggest you drop him a PM.
