most led's have a one way fitting to be sure of position, pos n neg.....
Where are the electronics in the "LED" lamp? looks more like a discharge lamp to meA Halogen bulb is directly driven at mains voltage, there are no drive electronics. Same applies to your LED replacement. It should just be plug and play, but those lamps are notorious for poor spring loaded pins in the lamp housing. Check with your meter that you have mains appearing at the pins

That is what I expected. I changed the flourescent lights in the shed previously and there is just a L & N on one end of the tubes, they work great.there are no drive electronics. Should leds show continuity on the multimeter?There are none. It is a string of LED "chips" in series, usually without a controller and just a choke filter in line. Those components live in the LED tube.

Thought 1 woulda worked out of the 3, but it seems like the Chinese seller is removing the urine. I'll try one from local spark shop before I complain.might be a lemon a lot of krap coming in from china un tested and for peanuts
Yea, I put the halogen back in and it is fine, Just wanted to modernise and upgrade, the bulbs are the same length, the fitting is fine, can see marks on the new tube connections from where the pins had been.i presume your existing fitting is ok and the bulb fits in on the pins ok
