does anyone know how to adjust the kerf allowance/correction in the swiftcam software?
i'm cutting a part that should measure 30.5mm high. it was coming out at 31.4mm so i tried adjusting the offsets but can't make heads or tails.
I had to make this parameter set for cutting 20mm steel which the swifty isn't set up for. It can be done and quite nicely with an edge start so i copied all the parameters for 15mm and then just slowed the feed speed as per hypertherm manual.
I wanted the part a tad smaller so i made the offsets 1.3 and the part came out at 26mm!
what am i doing wrong? never had to adjust the kerf before it's always cut +/- 0.5mm
