Symbol meaning

Hi, can enyone explain to me what these symbols mean, and can this welding machine run as MMA or is it just a MIG/MAG?

First symbol means a transformer, I think...

Second symbol, DC output, I think...

Third symbol, you need to plug it in, 230 +- volts or three phase.

Fourth symbol, Yep, no Idea.

Can it do mma / arc welding ? No.

I'm no expert but i think The first one means its a transformer welder, the second one means its constant current / constant voltage power supply. 3rd one means it has a 3 phase plug i guess.

The last one is power factor and is complicated, but the closer to 1 the better it is in terms of efficiency and cheaper to run if your electric meter measures VA or apparent power which is common in industrial meters.

I don't think you can run a transformer MIG as an MMA welder. MIG is constant voltage. MMA is constant current.

There are some CV/CC power sources out there (Miller XMT etc) but I don't think that Telwin will be one of them.

Cheapish inverter MIGs often can run stick. If you want to do both, buy a modern inverter MIG.

No, scroll down the label, 220 or 380 volts.

I would have said three phase only because of the three in the box with 50 hz but either 220v or 380v so it can be used in different countries. If it was single phase it should have a one in the box next to the 50 hz as the welder in this other thread has https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/telwin-mastermig-help.74960/

Yeah, it does look like three-phase only. They usually have a number next to the plug symbol.

I think three-phase is less of a problem in Europe compared to the UK.
