Next project is to convert this 240v Ryobi 18v One Plus charger to a battery powered soldering station.
I've cut the old main lead off and will be fitting kettle socket. Next up is isolating the battery terminals from the PCB, I dont want to take then off the board, so I'll strip the track around them.
They'll be rerouted to a switch, so I can either;
Run from Battery
Run from Mains (all be it at 18V 3a not 24V 4a
Charge the battery
I've some little black brackets somewhere.... goes off to have a root
