tandum compressor

hi im new to the forum
im a paint sprayer and ive just got my hands on a taskmarter tandum 240v 250l compressor prob is the guy i got it from unwired the pressure switch and put a 13amp plug on each motor witch yes they do work and make good air but as you no will not switch off and back on again as no pressure switch is wired . so if anyone can help me out with wiring diagram or info to wire the switch back in
im pretty sure the motors cut in dif times as the amps on start up will be to much ?
any help would be great

Is there just one pressure switch or one for each motor?

Any chance of some photos of the pressure switch(es)?

yes just one switch for both
i will grab a pic tomoro and stick up
it all seams there just unwired from switch

to get them to both work of one pressure switch u would need 2 contactors and timer to bring the second comp in as they would both start together if just wired in to the pressure switch .either that or u would need to get another pressure switch and wire them seperately

i did think about another switch i will have alook tomoro to see if theres room to fit another one .
as of a timer how would that work ? would it be wired to the pressure switch ?
the compreesor is just like the clarke se290d270 tandum and i cant find much info or wiring set up

if u havent got the contactors and timer it would be 2 expensive to buy and wire up if your handy plumb another presure switch in and the wiring is simple to each and cheaper

cheers for the pic.s ive not got a box on it like that just the motor wires x2 and a wire from the switch .
im thinking along the plumbing another switch in way if ive only got 1 fitting place would it be ok to put a t in and plumb 2 switches in and set at diff pressures ?

yes that will work fine . u can pick the switches up of ebay for about 12 quid

how do you choose right switches ie amp ?
