Taskmaster Megamig 185 operators manual

I've got a second-hand Taskmaster MegaMig 185 but no operator manual. I'm fairly new to welding so I can't make much headway trying to figure out the controls on the front etc. I've tried searching the Web for this model but have not had any luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can get hold of manual or explain the control functions to me?

Put up a picture of the front panel and someone will have an idea what everything does.

I have read somewhere the smaller Taskmasters were actually Cebora's, a very good machine.

Perhaps you could do a search under that name and see if the pictures are the same as your machine.

The fact it can't be found suggests it's another make labelled for a particular seller, may only have been sold under that name for a short period

Definately a re-boxed Cebora, so a good machine. Controls I can't remember exactly but certainly step voltage control switch, wire speed and probably 2 more knobs - 1 for spot time and 1 for pause time if pulse welding. Turn both these off (should click) for normal welding. Turn on spot time for short pseudo spot weld, turn on pause time for repeated weld-pause-weld-pause type pulse welding. Nothing complicated here. Try setting weld volts to step number 2, wire speed around 3 and play on scrap, adjusting wire speed until you get a smooth weld.
