Telwin/Sealey parts supplier who will post to Australia.

Does anyone know a seller of Telwin (aka Sealey) spot welder arms who might post to Australia?

The local distributor doesn't list the ones I need and is useless as well as being overpriced. I've been looking at UK based sites but none will allow me to ship to Australia. I did contact one place but they won't ship to Australia, I guess they are too lazy to fill in a customs form.

I thought maybe someone would have a recommendation of somewhere to try before I email every store I can find?

What do you need? Even here in UK, they appear to be well-priced (small market, lots of variations, low annual sales). Are they specific to that/those brands? Clarke here in UK sells spot welders and they tend to buy from the same suppliers as Sealey.

Is making them (or having someone make them for you) an option? As I understand it, they are just some specific copper alloy, which in principle would be available in round bar from from a metal supplier. Anything available second hand that could be modified - you only need to make the end that goes in the machine the correct diameter?

Clarke does appear to be the same too, I'll search for their part number.

From what I've seen, other designs like Tecna (not Telwin rebrands) use smaller diameter arms.

I did make some custom electrodes previously however they were out of whatever copper I could buy so it was too soft. I should be able to buy the correct copper if I know what it should be however the metal suppliers I know of aren't going to have it or know what it is.

Using the Clarke suggestion, I get https://www.lawson-his.co.uk coming up. They appear to be the cheapest I've seen and I recently used them for something else. I'd like to find someone else if possible though.

Have you tried Sealey directly ? I found them pretty helpful, although I am in the UK.

I have a feeling the arms for hand held machines are generic, and all of the same size. If you have any machine suppliers "locally" sure they must have something ?

If you sort out exactly what you need from the UK, I don't mind sending it on to you if they will not. The shipping costs might kick the ar5e out of it though.

The large diameter arms would be OK in standard copper bar and could be made locally. It is only the contact tips (which are either 10mm or 12mm diameter) that need the specific alloy. It would be way cheaper shipping 2 x 300mm lengths of 12mm copper bar than the whole assembly.

Sealey sell the electrodes as a consumable without the arms. For example:

So another approach would be to find a Sealey distributor in the UK who ships internationally (who would order anything from the Sealey catalogue for you) rather than looking for the specific part (i.e. look for a service not a product).
