Anyone using Temu yet?
I find them strange.
I have recently purchased a few items but I think I have ended up with the wrong ones due to the way they list things.
I started using them as one of the laser guys found some black Aluminium Rfid cases at £1.37 but a number of us seem to have been duped. Not sure till they get delivered but they list 3 items but the photo only matches one.

This is one example of unclear/misleading adverts.

That's not the issue. They are around that price (or were) from toolstation.
The issue is there is a set in the photo but seems only 1 is being sold. No way of choosing which one though.
So is it a set or just one.

And yes they are useful I buy 5 at a time when I replace the ones I break or loose.

I can't help on the shop front. But I vividly recall the time on a cold, wet nightshift when someone dropped a bolt down a small blind hole which we had to retrieve.

No problem said my colleague and produced one of those extending magnet things from his pocket, the end of which was a perfect fit down the deep hole.

With a look of smugness on his face he extended his equipment and carefully lowered his tool down the hole to retrieve said bolt. With a small clunk the magnet contacted the bolt and he made ready to retrieve his treasure.

At which point the magnet detached itself from the handle and the whole lot dropped even further down the hole.

Nice one, now we've got a bolt and a magnet stuck down a blind hole that we've got to somehow retrieve. Mr popular he was not!

The moral of this tale is don't by cheap tools off the Internet unless you want to be cold, wet, frustrated and unpopular.

Extendable magnet thingies, are ace, but they don't like getting bent.

I keep a big magnet in the truck. Out of an old tv or something.

Stick it on a pry bar when needed. Instant magnetic pickup. I’ve got a telescopic one one as well but pry bar or screwdriver etc gets used more.

Also it’s ‘switchable’ - put prybar down hole without it sticking to stuff, put magnet on end, pick up nut / whatever , remove

I had a big round tv magnet stuck on the bottom of my old hot rod fuel tank. It collected rust particles. Every few weeks I'd remove it and carefully poke a telescopic magnet through the filler cap to collect the rust dust that had accumulated.

Yes I read that....but the photo contains a few varieties. How do you select which 1pc you want?

I had read it but....how do you know which 1pc they are selling. The item photo should be a single item if that's what is being sold. Or selections if there is 5 types to.choose one.
