Do you get a painful upper nasal reaction? I do, can detect diesel fumes at 100m, even if I can't smell them.no good for me due to picking up the smell of the fumes
to me theres no heater that dosnt produces fumes unles its a sealed heater seperated from internal air whilst the fumes go external
I really suffer as well. Hate the smell of kero. Always wear gloves. Even gas fires and lpg cars set me off but this burns really clean.Do you get a painful upper nasal reaction? I do, can detect diesel fumes at 100m, even if I can't smell them.
Yes it needs mains. But an inverter on a car battery would do it. They do the old fashioned wick type which don't need power but they do stink.@fizzy, what is the make and model, does it need mains electricity or is it power cut proof?
I know but as I keep saying our c2 is also ultra low sulphur now. I am very sensitive to fume. Trust me it is far far better than a calor gas heater.I say this every time you bring this heater up. Apologies if it’s boring just think it needs to be mentioned. It’s not designed to run on kerosene. It’s designed to run on C1 paraffin which is more refined. It may run ok on kerosene but you don’t know what it may or may not be kicking out in terms of emissions.
If you have decent ventilation then better than the diesel type. They are all very similar to mine. Not as powerful, but gets good reviews, made in Japan??? - not a bad price, looks better deal than messing with Chinese diesel heaters?
Might do some research on it..

Perfect for workshop or a draughty old house. Don't understand why they aren't more popular here.
Removable tank. Can be refilled whilst running.
