Got a little project on that involves cutting a twin cylinder head in half but will need to source a couple of bits.
Basicly I need to make an external Thermostat, I will fabricate the housing myself as that's easy enough BUT I need to find a smaller Automotive / Car / Bike, etc Thermostat smaller than what is originally used.
The original thermostat has an OD of 49mm with rubber, 44mm without and is 71*C. Would like one alot smaller and also lower temp, between 50-60*C would be great. Something widely used so will be cheap as chips.
Any Ideas what will fit the bill.
Also will need some 90* elbows made from Ally OD about 22mm, cheap as chips though. If these are not avalible then no worries as I can always turn some Ally bar and get it welded at a 90* angle.
