Give them a miss, they could be anything. Search for Murex, Esab, Oerlikon etc, decent makes that you know you are buying quality.
They look the same except the first lot are cheaper
Not certain but I suspect they are also Chinese.
As mentioned earlier look for brand names. You can get branded for those prices. Look for a local Welding Distributor. This might help but there are others

I had a box of these before I knew better and bought Murex rods, but I have to say they worked really well with my R-Tech inverter.
You won't find many enthusiasts of cheap odd-brand or own-brand rods on here. They tend to be inconsistent if not definitely horrible to use. A lot of us have tried Screwfix rods and other cheapies and are not inclined to try again.
The major makers, Oerlikon, Murex and so on, often to do white box versions of their rods which are a better bet and are about £20 a box or a bit less.
Another thing is that if you haven't done much welding, you're not a position to know which faults are down to the rods and which faults are down to you. It's far better to get rods of known good quality.

Found Super6, its SWP and if you google it you will find them for £10-£12 per packet. SWP sell cheap products, usually imports.

How about weldequips shop on the forum? He sells Siftrodes in 2.5 , 3.2 and 4mm sizes, I tried unbranded rods and had the same problem, but i swear by the siftrodes he sells, during my practice, i haven't used anything else.
