I use 2k thinner for spraying, brushing without thinners. Imagine celly would work, but as it's fiercer than 2k thinners I haven't used it. They do flog their own thinners too.
Thanks Chipper. I know they do their own proper stuff but I just want to get on with it and I have loads of std/gunwash celly thinners at hand...Has anyone tried it?
If 2k thinners thins it, celly definitely will. Only thing is being that bit stronger it's more likely to bother other things it contacts. Then again won't need a lot to thin it. Once it gets too runny it's not much good for brushing.
Mine's like treacle. It is the 87 and it could be the cold weather.I am storing paint in the house overnight the night before...I am using winter activator ....
Ok. I will have one more try tomorrow with a better quality paint brush and if I cant get a decent finish then I will order some proper no.17 thinners...Thanks for all the advice, Paul.
It's fine with 2k thinners, and celly if Steve says, and also, it's never going to flow out smooth when brushed. Far too gluey. That's no bad thing though, ripple surfaces help with deflecting stones.
