Through weld etch primer

Hi,

Can I paint ( Zinc etch primer) straight over U-POL 2 Weld through Zinc Primer.

Also I'm stripping paint / under seal as I'm repairing and have yet to apply an etch Zinc primer, it'll be brush applied as its underneath.

Any recommendations to brand of paint, cost and where to purchase?
The intention is to seam seal after its all etch primed.

id thinners it off and prime onto bare metal

the weld through stuff isnt that great...but better than nowt on a joint

loads of differant products to choose from ...i like bondaprime and rustoleum
