Timer light switches

Chaps. Any recommendation for a timer light switch that will turn my lights on/off on dark early evenings?
Internal use to replace an existing light switch, but still maintain on/off functionality.

Plug in timer or timers which fit on the lamps are no use.

Replace the light switches with Alexa compatibles. You can set a timer routine on the associated app as well as being able to voice control and use fully manually. You do need a neutral in the switch back box though.

Ignore the temporary wiring here, it is how I found it and haven't had time to do a proper job.

British Gas 'Hive' is a really flexible system.

Obviously controls heating / water, but there's a whole host of add one for security purposes - cameras, smart bulbs, motion sensors, smart plugs etc.

Reasonably priced as well.

Last weekend my Wife and I were at Tesco, where I noticed they had seven day digital set on / off plug in timers for about £ 5.oo each.

Edit: I forgot to say programable.

Just noticed this hence the late reply ... (Edit : then found Mr Brightspark has already given a similar link. Oops !)
I've fitted "timer light switches" (£20) in a couple of my previous houses, I often work away and found them ideal for turning lights on & off automatically in an evening.
The front cover flips down, then use buttons to set on & off times as you would for central heating timer etc.
They also work as a normal on/off switch, fine for use in rooms with 2-way switching (lounge, stairs, etc).

The timer can be turned "dumb" so they work as a normal on/off switch with no timer.

I don't think mine had a dusk sensor so I used to manually change the times during in winter when it got dark earlier. Newer / other versions might be different.
Some low energy bulbs worked fine but others flickered. All GLS worked fine.
