Tinted face shield

Looking for a tinted face shield for plasma cutting, cant find anything anywhere. Fairly light tint, just to keep the glare down.
Anybody got any ideas?

Get an esab globe-arc welding helmet and put a din3 backshield in it. It will give you full face protection. I have used this combination and also with din5 for o/a cutting and it has worked great

haha, no, not at all, I was looking for them for the school where i work a while ago, to use for brazing for the kids, (we don't do much o/a welding), but we decided to get goggles instead!!

I usually use a clear shield and use the end of the torch to shield the arc.
This is for customers on my sculpture classes, though i reckon I will be wearing it as well.
My Optrel works well in grinding mode but it is good to have two masks for working with new people.
Just ordered one.

I fasten a cut up plastic cider bottle to my clear visor.

You do have to empty the bottle first though.

Now that is quality cheapskatism.
My customers would see that as rural artisanism.

One thing, how do you see through the bit where it says Diamondwhite.

Once I've emptied the bottle I'm not bothered what I can see through.

I use Coke bottles as visor protectors on my blasting helmet. The proper ones cost about 20p, I used to get a bottle of Netto Coke for 18p

I use tinted cycling glasses from aldi! They look like I have "attitood" as well as being cheap!
