Toothless from how to train your dragon

A friend of mine designs custom vinyl toys, he's got a stand at this years Toycon show in March, he's asked a load of toy designers and customisers to use his platform #bohnaskully and to create different individual pieces. I went with the how to train your dragon, and because I've wanted to make a dragon for so long, this is very exciting

Thank you very much! That texture is coming out really nicely! Really happy so far and now the wings and tail fins are making it look complete!

I have for years loved looking at tattoo art and wondered about ways of adapting it to metal art.
The outlines of some tattoos (I know nothing of the lingo) would lend themselves beautifully to bent up steel frameworks. This idea has been floating about for years; I think inspired by Yakuza designs, those big bold lines could be scaled up massively.
Dippy vague ideas but some of them grow years later.

Yes we've spoken about it a few times, I love the idea. Line work is my bissest inspiration, I'd definitely like to do more of it! Come on Chunko' let's make history. We can make a giant Japanese dragon wall piece?
