Those big tow rings are a ballache, they bind in throat of the normal ball/pin hitches on the turn. You could go down a size on the ring if you already have a pin/ball hitch. Other than that take of the two bolts on the hitch and measure the shaft, may need to cut off the tamper proof one if its got one..

Are they meant for a NATO hitch?
The tow bar on my Transporter is OEM with a swan neck type ball. Adding a pin would too much hassle - easier to change the trailer coupling. This compressors use will be more static than mobile but I would like the option to move it around without having to resort to putting it onto a plant trailer - which is how I brought it home....Why do you have to change it?
that looks to be able to bolt strait on on if he takes and unbolts the ring of the old shaftMore for tractors,mogs, dumpers, telehandlers and the bigger hitch. Knott Avonride do a 30mm which will work on a normal Landrover ball/hitch.
