My 1200 is very, very yellow... and lived in Cornwall so was becoming one single mass of corroded metal. Doing a bit of sorting was we go (daily transport).
Nothing to exciting, but so far it's cost zero (unlike the engine itself).
First up was the screen done a while ago, but here 'tis:
A standard one with very light smoke, bleached and manky. Replacements cost actual squids so decided to do something with mine.
Sanded it first.
Mixed up some blue candy and lay on a coat:
'Liberace In A Can' next:
After light flaking and a thin coat of kandy. More needed:
Add more kandy to taste, then bury the flake. Here it's after first bit of polishing. The flake glows & sparkles in the sun, silvery, light blue, and purple sparkles:
