trying to source a tig torch lead/hose

i bought a cheapo chinesium tig inverter. As a welder it seems to be fine although i havent really got a clue what im doing with tig.

my only real issue is the short leads. earth clamp is fine, thats on a dinse but the torch power is fed through the gas port which i thought was a bit weird. seems to work, but it is making finding a new lead a bit tricky.

as for the torch it has a plasticky feeling wp17 on it that is fine while im learning, i have ordered a better quality 17 and 26 for it.

anyone got any idea where i could get a longer combined power/gas hose? preferably 2 as im aware the 17 and 26 have different torch connections and would be nice to have both ready to go

ok. so after a bit of digging and only searching for a power lead/hose rather than a combination with a torch i think ive found what i need.

I've fitted quick-connectors to my tig welders.
Easy to swap torches between them.

Then I've got extension leads made up.

So one extension lead serves multiple machines (or I can join 2 if required).
Plus it's easier to coil and store 4m lengths than 8m or 12m!

i have dinse sockets on the welder itself, but the tig torch doesnt use one which i expected it to...the - dinse socket is empty when set up for tig, power comes directly through the gas port. i have found a few different brands now that provide the right ends for what i need though so have ordered a 4m for wp17 and wp26 torches, and 2 new longer torch switches to go with them

ill try and grab a pic if i remember tomorrow to better illustrate

A Threaded connector for both power and gas.
It's quite common.
You can get adaptors to go either way around but sounds like you have it sorted now

I take it this is what you have now, depending on size of course, this is a small one.
