Understanding motor frame sizes / feet dimensions.

I have a motor here - plate says "ED100LB"

I assumed id just be able to google that and get the dimensional stuff, but, no...

Sure, i have this one, in 3d, so ill meaure it, but i still dont understand it - what does the ED100LB actually mean?

(Its a 1ph motor)

It is a minefield, many places stock the standard metric sizes now but there are many old imperial frame sizes.

I did quite a bit a research while looking for a motor for my Rapidor, turns out it has a B56 frame which is an imperial motor. In the end I've lucked out, found a B56 1ph from exactly the same manufacture as the 3ph that is on there for £30 plus delivery.

From a quick search I think the 100L may be the important bit

Think it's a 100 frame motor so centre of shaft to mounting if its foot mounted is 100 mm
