Unusual pins

I bought a job lot of milling collets off eBay, I was primarily after the Clarkson Autolock collets (I now have more than I know what to do with) but there was also a bunch of TG100, Acramil collets, some odd ones, and a load of these weird pins with slots which have me stumped, anyone have any idea what they are?

I'm still none-the-wiser on what the pins are, they all have a number stamped on one end so they're clearly something for something but I haven't got the foggiest what exactly. It would be a shame to chuck them in the scrap metal bucket if they're of use to someone.

Dimensions - imperial or metric? Depth of slots all the same (in diameter groups0? I expect they are to fit in a tool, of some description, for doing the same job on various sized items.

Ok, so I found a bit of time to measure the pins. There are two sized with the larger being 7/8” diameter x 1 11/16” long and the smaller size being 11/16” diameter x 1 3/8” long. The slots are various imperial sizes in increments of 1/16” for each number increase. They obviously clamp into something as there are marks from what looks like the end of a screw in some of them.
