I have a set of Hemi rocker covers and girder forks to coat, so I extended the oven something like 15" to get them in[I have to admit I haven't measured any of this!]. The frame is done and the door is hung, just some ali paneling and insulation to do. I nearly forgot I have to block the gap above the door, I hadn't intended on using the original door as making hinges seemed a pain, but it's nice to look through the window and see the coating flowing, so I fitted the original door.
I now can't find the bit of ali I thought I had to panel it with. I am considering chopping the lathe splash shield up;-)
Does anyone know about insulation sheet, the makers are not very forth coming. I eventually got a reply from one of the companies and their PIR insulation isn't for use over 100ºC and the didn't suggest what was. If it's fire resistant isn't it going to be OK to 200ºC? or is just OK with cold fire. I spose I will have to test some. I don't want to use fibreglass unless I box it in.
