Updated Trolley photos

I built a trolley for my first welding project. Since I've used it for a few months, I've made a few improvments to it. I got tired of the gun and wiring trying to falling off onto the floor. I also had no place to "holster" my mig gun while welding in various places around my place. The photos show the modifications.

The long tee-handle was also a problem (kept falling down and becomming a tripping hazard). You probably can't see it.....but the tee handle is now held upright by a magnet.

cool...you just need a motor to run it now !
I would have modified your plier holder so it's holster style....just in case someone falls onto the jaws...

just put them in the other way around.

I actually just stuck the plyers there.......I need to come up with something better......I did try them the other way around and they don't stay there very well.

Suprised you have pneumatic tyres WRT hot metal , sharp off cuts etc. & punctures

Im looking at making me another trolley somtime soon. Hopefully an aluminium one :-)

Pidgeon....I have the pneumatic tires for various reasons. I have a very bad back so I can't carry my equipment. My welding equipment needs to travel around my property and the ground isn't always level, I travel over lots of gravel and/or snow. Also, the tires are very cheap ($4.88 U.S. each). I only weld lightweight metal and I always keep my area of work clean. I never weld right next to the trolley, I don't want to get my tools and equipment dirty. So far its working out very well. I do have a cutting torch on a seperate trolley so I have very few sharp/hot objects near this trolley while I'm using it.
