Hi, just after a bit of advice about uPVC doors.
I noticed when it was raining heavily the other day that the frame was full of water so trying to clear the drains out.
The water is filling the inner drain in the but just sitting there. Bottom ones on the outside look dry.
It feels like the drain from the top doesn’t go down far enough to reach the bottom one, as if there’s another layer in the frame. Not sure if it’s baffled like that to stop draughts?
Excuse the poor quality next image, just posting from my phone so not sure how this will show, but wondered if the frame could be a similar design to this window frame and the drains have been drilled in the wrong place?
Door has been fitted for a few years and never really noticed this before, not sure if it is getting worse with the seal degrading and more water getting into the frame.
