UPVc windows

A while ago I was gifted a load of UPVc windows free to go on the "they will come in useful pile one day" a few are now going to be used on the outbuildings but the protective tape stuff has been left on them, in places it comes off easily but in others its well stuck, any one got any good ideas on how to get it off? or shall I just leave it and let the weather/time do it?

Try a can of Multisolve but follow the instructions as to how long to leave it on.

I'm guessing it's still cold in your workshop (we had frost last week, and I'm just North of you). Try a hairdryer / heatgun on low setting ?
As a test move one of the windows into the house for a couple of days to warm up then see if it's easier to clean?

I've had great results in the past using UPVC solvent cleaner on white frames - my local double glazing place stocks it - beware the fumes as it's very potent !
