I've got loads of old paint in part used tins. Seems a shame to chuck it out. How bad can it be and still be used for protecting metal from the elements if I'm applying with a brush and not too bothered about the finish? Will it still cure OK?
I've got some red vapormatic enamel and the red oxide to go with it that I'd like to use. The red oxide has seperated into thin dark fluid and sticky red gunk. I stirred up the gunk and have put some big nuts and ikea flat pack allen keys (I knew they would come in handy!) in there to agitate and keep giving it a shake.
Will I get halfway decent results in terms of paint sticking and curing or am I flogging a dead horse?
