Thanks to Royal Mail losing my order of Stainless 316 Tees, 3/8 to 1/4” converters and hose tails etc; I have time to think about the plan.
I have made a stainless Bracket to secure my Titan Auto drain, and 2 ball cocks, at the accessible end of the compressor. So it can auto drain via this auto-drain gizmo or dump air directly via a 2nd ball cock, missing the auto drain for a complete fast dump.
The plan is to connect the Auto drain to a wheel chassis bracket at the front, and run approx. 1 meter 1/4” hose to the std. Drain with hose-tails, and more hose-tails to direct the dirty air-water into a bottle, rather than spray the underside of the tank!
In the perfect world it would have been nice to plumb it all in 1/4” stainless. But cost and the hassle of getting the exact length, and angles to all line up, dictated the use of rubber hose.
Q. Any downside to using this W.P. 21 Bar rubber hose? (have sufficient extra to even remake it, if it perished - but assume it would last decades?). Hopefully its not going to ”Jump” every time pressure is used.
Q. Any ideas for self adhesive clips to support the hose 14mm OD ? I.e. to stick to underside of the round tank?
only thing I can think of is electrical Armoured Cable clips. Not sure these would stick to the underside of a round tank???
