I have an existing condition where the skin on parts of my face gets red and sore. Think of sunburn and you'll be close. Most of the time it is a minor irritation, one of those things you keep meaning to go and bother the doctor about but never get around to.
I have noticed that a day or two after using a welder, (I won't say welding as it would be too generous to describe my rubbish efforts as such), my skin really flares up.
Could there be a connection? I use a cheap auto helmet and my eyes aren't sore at all.
Does anyone use a sort of balaclava? I don't know if specialist products exist but I was thinking about one of those tropical style UV50 coverings pale fishermen use in Australia etc.
Do you think it would help?
Thanks.
