Depends how fast you count, it's all down to personal preference but it has worked for me on MMA and MAG welding for over 40 years or soCounting to 3 sounds a long time but it works a treat to ensure the puddle flows into the parent metal

You are running far too wide and as a consequence each horizontal pass is cooling down too much, this is one of the reasons for the subsequent runs not blending into each other too much. Keep doing what you are doing but only weave enough to just cover the weld underneathA bit more practice what do you think
