Vice Paint - Any recommendations?

I've snapped myself a mahooosive Record No.112 Vice off ebay but it's in need of a bit of a clean up. I'm planing on sandbasting the main body and repainting it.

I would quite like to restore it to the original blue colour is there any special paint people use for this?

just paint mine with a primer and smooth hamersh,..,,.te:

If you take a flake of the paint to B&Q I think they can match the colour.

Just use any old rubbish paint to stop it rusting! Paint doesnt last long on vices anyway

Just done similar with a No.25, Wire brush in the grinder brought it up rather nicely. I just used some metal paint I had in stock, and treated it to a new set of jaws. As mentioned, the paint doesn't last long anyway!

Use a floor paint a two pack if you can get it hard wearing compared to enamel.

That's not the sort of vice I was offered when I was last in Sheffield , I can tell you .
