Vice Restoration

Here is a quick restoration I did on my old record steel 84 vice. Was seriously tatty so all the paint was stripped and then done in hammer finish green.

Also tidied up a little bench top vice thing that I use to hold pieces whilst welding them if they are an odd shape.

Your little bench top vice thing is actually a drill vice, for holding small stuff when drilling on a drill press,

Ah I see thought I'd seen them about before.
I've got a few of them record vices laying about. Will be restoring them one by one.

Also in the process of restoring this keetona hydroform, a kingsland punching machine, and an big old 3-phase pillar drill, not sure of make yet.

That vice definitely looks much perkier than it did to start with.
