Voltage switch problem

I have a cebora 255 combi mig welder .. The voltage switch was disconnected..
Would anyone here be able to tell me how to rewire the switch .. I made an attempt to rewire it but , I now only have one voltage , position 1 & position 2 are both the same & it's near impossible to weld thin metals.
I have a wiring diagram from cebora but it's not exactly helpful .. Would anyone have the same machine that they could post the wire colours to the numbers on the rear of the switch .. Thanks

from the wiring diag it looks like this
there should be 8 wires to the 8-way rotary switch and two wires to the 1/2 switch all going to the primary side of the transformer.

the 1/2 switch should be neutral at the commone then 1 on one and 2 on the other connectors. you should be able to buzz this out on a multimeter.

Many thanks for your reply . Have diagnosed problem to be a break down on the lower side of the transformer
