VW BBQ

Hi,l made this up over the weekend,used an old VW type3 Fastback bonnet.

Really nice job Beetlejac, but I'm not about to cut up my Touareg just yet, What have you used for the grilling area?

The grill and hot plate were off an old bbq that fell to bits,so l recycled them and built a new bbq around them.

The reason that I asked is, I have built a few BBQ's and always used stainless expanded metal for the grill, But I have finally come to the end of my stock. So looking for a decent alternative.

Very nice but remember when VW owners had Beastie Boys fans nicking their VW badges; feck me they're taking the whole bonnet now............

Would look good from a front end damaged car, with wings and front panel, so it looks like its crashed through your wall. When its first lit, with all the smoke coming from it
