VW engine compressor

Many years ago i was at a garage workshop and spotted a beetle engine in a shed running and the owner said it was a compressor, I have a 14cfm compressor but on the odd occasion i could do with more power, has anyone seen one of these used as i have a spare engine and found this link about a supplier of parts to convert an engine based in the USA

The subject was discussed at length with some very good information a few yrs ago. Well worth a forum search.

All to do with exhaust valve setup and timing etc

Just had a look all very good and for the cost of the vw air kit it makes it quite a cheap high cfm set up.
