W28-xq1a-10 - circuit breaker, 10a

i have sip t3/50 srb compressor. i have never had a problem with it but tonight it would not start turn out to be W28-XQ1A-10 CIRCUIT BREAKER i removed the breaker and bridge the cables and it works.
is there a fault with the compressor or is just a crap breaker

ps new breaker £7.99 on ebay

I'd get another and try it just to see if it's the breaker at fault, it's the cheapest option

Possibly a sign of a faulty capacitor. Inspect it for bulges or leakage.

is the capacitor a tube like about 100mm x 40mm ??. every thing looks like new inside the case and i can take more photos if needed

Yes, that would be it. Have a close look at it, bulges can be subtle. Make sure power is disconnected though !!

if it starts quick enough it will possibly be a worn breaker
