Wall mounting a 200kg compressor

Hi
Need some advice please.
I need to run 2 compressors to give me enough cfm.
I am intending to mount one above the other.
What I would like to know is should I use box or angle,what thickness and what size raw bolts I would need, it is a 270lt tank.

Personally I’d be looking at some form of floor standing heavy duty shelving. Not the likes available from Screwfix/Toolstation/Machine Mart.

A rough guess is 200kg in weight for the compressor, so you’ll want something substantial enough to take that weight.

50x50x3 box at the very least

Get some 40mm unistrut, 4 uprights fix it to the floor then use angle brackets to make a shelf with more unistrut. That will hold it ok.

I'd make something up in box section to hold one above the other, or as above use unistrut

on legs tho, not fixed to the wall

I'd also go for floor standing, apart from strength the wall would amplify noise from the compressor
