Wanting to invest in a 3 in 1 welder

Anyone heard or tried a VEVOR MIG Welder, 3 in 1 Welder Welding Machine, 270 Amp MIG TIG Arc Welder 110V.. I’m wanting to get the 270 but really ain’t got no use for anything that big but don’t want to go too small either any thoghts on any of it also I can’t tell if I can hook up argon to this I would like to have the gas hook up

Vevor. Take the risk and you may get a ‘good-un’. IMO, vevor are no different than ban good - apart from customer service, possibly (but likely no help in sorting any problem, other than offering a part-refund). Multi-purpose items like this rarely do all - or even any - of the expected tasks that well. A compromise, at best.

I knew the ground, before buying both chinese diesel air heaters. Both do what I need them for, but neither is to the claimed specification. Not by a long way.

Just my honest opinion. Others will think the Sun shines out …………. and love the ‘quality’ of the products. I live in reality.

They were recalled for safety reasons.

Fuse had a wire soldered to it to stop it blowing.

I kept mine & got a large refund.

Works well.

But is cheap.

Wont last like my last transformer one for sure

Your first post reads 110V, but the ad shown in your second says 220V - which do you really need?

The OP is describing a welder that runs on 110v and is priced in Dollars, so most likely in USA. Thus the UK Vevor recall for a bypassed 13A fuse in a BS1363 plug does not apply.
The "270 Amp" rating for a machine of this size running on 110v is certainly wrong. Welding at 270 Amps requires about 30 to 35 volts on-load, and that would need 8 or 9 kW, pulling around 80 Amps on the power plug. Even the corrected "220 Amp" specification for this machine in YouTube videos is probably optimistic.
The 220 hookup is just a short adapter with a 110 socket connected to a NEMA 10-30P 220v plug.
It does have a gas solenoid valve, so you can connect gas for solid-wire MIG welding or scratch-start TIG.
The price of this machine is about half of what Harbor Freight Tools charge, so you can guess the expected quality and reliability!

Don't do it.
Buy something second hand, transformer based, or something reputable, so when it goes wrong you've got support.

It does have a gas solenoid valve, so you can connect gas for solid-wire MIG welding or scratch-start TIG.

I don't think the gas solenoid valve will be used for TIG, the torch will be a manual valved one and I think it will do lift arc TIG. Think you are on the money with the US spec machine.
