Well I'm blasting away with my road tow Hydrovane compressor powering an ex propane cylinder pot with a 3mm tungston carbide nozzle at 100psi and the paint and rust is flying away - but after 30 mins or so all stops - the dreaded moisture clogs up the lower tee in my home made blaster pot. The media is dry and always flows well. Faffing about with the valves achieves some respite but then it eventually cloggs.
I started off using a propane cylinder with a normal water trap and 3/8 piping to the pot feed and to the lower 1/4 tee. So changed lower tee to 1/2 and now it is better BUT stopped again due to moisture eventually clogging up the tee. Methinks this moisture needs to be stopped before it can clog up the lower tee, but how? I have one trap at the blaster pot, about 5 metres of 4mm pipe to the compressor. Should I put another water trap somewhere? Maybe something else? Change to 3/4 tee. What do you guys do? Where am I going wrong? Any help appreciated.
