Water seperator

Im looking at purchasing a water seperator for my compressor. Im going to use it for painting (only diy).

Looking at the PCL dropouts on zoro. Not sure which to go for with a 18cfm compressor. Any tips?

I'd go with the PDO300PA myself, but buy it somewhere that charges a more realistic price than the £399.99 I'm seeing on Zoro.

They seem to be £120-130 on eBay.

I got the pcl dropout from ebay for £120. Does it also need a tap for the drain?
I assumed it would be like the air regulator with the auto drain pin on the glass bowl. The instructions dont say much.

I use something similar but they are automatic and all they need is something to drain it in to, depending on the amount you get from your compressor you could get away with a bucket.

Also a useful tip i found can help is plumb your air in to the tank at the lowest point (if it's an upright tank) and exit at the highest point, if your tank is a horizontal then make it in one end out the other as this can "leave" moisture in the tank and every little helps.
